The Director of the
Standards and Certification committee is responsible for administering the
USA Judo Junior Judo Rank System. The
system will be administered as follows.. Only
one form will be used in the USA Judo Junior Judo Rank System.
This is the USA Judo Junior Membership and Promotion Form. You can link
onto this form at the bottom of the page. This form will be used for new
member registration, for renewal of registration, and for all promotions. The
Coach can register each club member by using the following options: 1)
Go to the USA Judo website, and use a credit card to complete the
membership. 2)
Complete the USA Judo membership form and fax it to the USA Judo National
Office with credit card information at the fax number listed above. 3) Enclose a check or money order. Note: An E-Mail address should be provided if possible. The members registration card will be mailed to the Coach. USA
Judo National Office personnel will process each registration and mail the new
member’s card to the Coach. All
new members must be registered as either white belt beginners, or with
current rank granted by other USA Judo recognized rank granting
authorities. I.E. USJA, USJF, or any foreign federation. New
members who have played Judo for many years, and have unrecognized rank may
be validated immediately to the rank within the USA Judo Junior Judo
Rank System that they can successfully demonstrate.
When
new members are immediately validated to a junior rank, coaches must follow
the guidelines in the table of maximum ranks for new members according to
ages listed below and complete the promotion form.

new members have received their first Junior Rank, they will follow the
guidelines covered under Structure of the Junior Judo Rank System for
future
promotions. The Director of the Standards and Certification committee is responsible for setting all procedures for use of funds generated by Junior development, but garnered by net proceeds of the Junior Judo Rank system. The
Director of the Standards and Certification committee will ensure that all expenses for processing the Junior
Judo Rank System promotions, and the cost of the program materials will be
deducted from the account on a monthly basis. A
full report of the amount contained in the USA Judo Junior Development Fund
will be made to the President and Executive Committee on a quarterly basis.
The Director of the Standards and Certification committee, with the approval of the Board of
Directors, will disburse the funds from the USA Judo Junior Development Fund
as they are needed for Junior development. |
