Competition System:
The USA Judo Junior Judo Rank System is based upon
giving young people as much competition experience as possible.
For this reason, the USA Judo Pool System is recommended to be used for
all competition within, and between clubs, and particularly for regional,
and state tournaments.
The
value of using the competition experience is to make detailed notes of the
performance, of each athlete, and each of their opponents.
The coach should then construct lesson plans built around strengthening
the weaknesses revealed by competition.
