It is required when testing a student for advancement that there will be a general review of the previous techniques leading to the degree, which the student is being tested.  It is recommended that the testing be conducted in public with parents and guests observing.  The student (s) being tested should perform the techniques simultaneously.  This must be rehearsed frequently beforehand so the students will be use to performing the techniques properly. 

All fees should be paid and the certificate obtained from the USA Judo National Office before the testing ceremony.  The certificate and new belt should be presented at a ceremony immediately following testing.

Note:   This form of testing is an extremely important part of  retaining students.
