Current Gokyu-No-Waza

Current Gokyo-No-Waza: This syllabus was created in 1920 by dropping eight techniques from the Former Gokyo and adding six others, thereby reducing the total from 42 to 40 techniques. In addition, the current Gokyo is actually a taxonomy. That is, the techniques are arranged in a logical order, in this case from easy to difficult. The groups were also made the same size, eight techniques each. Notes are included as to where these techniques may be found in the USA Judo Junior Judo Rank System.
